Twelve Tribes
The torah portion "Ba’Midbar" was the inspiration for this collage. The central square made up of clouds represents the mishkan, where the Holy of Holies resides. The tribes surrounded the tabernacle in the desert in the formation depicted. Each tribe is represented by the land it occupied and by a name, written in gold ink.
