Cut fragments of New York City and Amsterdam subway maps merge into a single hybrid transit system, its colorful lines blooming upward into tulip forms. Diatoms, radiolarians, and mycelial threads suspended across the map cast the subway’s underground network as a living, organic one – linking the two cities through their shared name and history.
